On Saturday 22nd May we took our first practical action which was surveying numbers and species of trees that have survived or died; maintaining the canes and tree guards and collecting up broken tree guards; and clearing grass from around the saplings to give them more space to thrive.
It was great chance for a number of the core members of The LANCE Trust to meet in person having previously only met over Zoom and we were grateful to be joined by a nice group of Long Ashton residents who were had responded to calls for help on various email lists and Facebook groups.
